Bantu is a Zimbabwean-born, two-time Grammy-nominated artist, songwriter, and producer known for his unique sound – a fusion of Afro beats, Amapiano, R&B, and Dancehall. He has produced music for major artists such as Drake, Maroon 5, Burna Boy, J Balvin, Camila Cabello, Jason Derulo, while also collaborating with multi-platinum artists like Nicki Minaj, Adam Levine, and Anuel AA. In July 2024, Bantu produced “Sideways” by Gordo & Drake and co-wrote “One Call” by Omah Lay & Tyla and has simultaneously been carving out a lane for himself in the Afro House scene. Currently, Bantu is working closely with Burna Boy on his upcoming project and will soon shift focus to his own solo work that he will start rolling out in 2025.
